Resisting temptation


Day 3 done. 1 day to go.

"Buy experiences not things" is a motto I need to embrace more. Things tend to cause clutter & add very little value to our lives, experiences however have a more beneficial outcome, memories of good times are invaluable.

Today was spent having a picnic with friends, we headed off to Wainui for a day trip out of the city. It was bliss. I'm going to make a conscious effort to make sure we make time for more days like today.

It would have been very easy to cheat today but I successfully resisted the urge!

Day 3 went as follows :
- Up at 6am.
- Lemon Tea.
- Gentle yoga flow.
- Green juice : Rocket, spinach, kale & celery juice.
- Morning workout.
- Breakfast : Antioxident Smoothie Bowl.
- Morning & Afternoon activity : Day trip to Wainui with friends.
- Lunch : Kale, cabbage & sesame salad, strawberries & cherries.
- Juice : Vital carrot & citrus juice.
- Dinner : Raw Zucchini Pasta with sun dried tomato sauce & pinenut pesto.
- Aromatherapy bath : Apple cider vinegar, salt & peppermint essential oil.
- Journaling : Reflection on the day.
- Pre-sleep meditation.
